Resolution 140RESOLUTION NO. 140
WHEREAS, under provisions of the "Statewide City
Employees Retirement System, established by Chapter 41.44
RCW" which will be referred to herein as the Retirement Act,
and,
WHEREAS, the 1961 Amendment to the Retirement Act, makes
it optional with each City whether the maximum salary, on
which employee's contributions and city's matching contributions
are calculated, is to be increased from $400.00 monthly to Full
Compensation; NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON;
That the City of Edmonds, Washington, effective January 1,
1967, takes the option of increasing the maximum salary to
Full Compensation on which employee's contributions are calcu-
lated.
The adoption of the within and foregoing Resolution was
moved by Councilman Harrison, seconded by Councilman Slye and
carried and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, Washington held at the Civic Center this
16th day of August, 1966.
