A FMOLUTION approving the Comprehensive
Plan of the Alderwood 'Nater District for
the collection and disposal of sanitary
sewage as provided by Chapter 57.08 RCW
WHEREAS., the Alderwood Water District did adopt a general
comprehensive plan for the collection and disposal of sanitary sewage
by Resolution No. 1405 dated the 6th day of June, 1966, which compre-
hensive plan provides for the collection and disposal of sanitary
sewage in all of the area comprising the Alderwood Water District
except those areas lying within incorporated cities and towns, and,
.ZiERFAS, said comprehensive plan does not provide for con-
struction of sewers by the water district within the area located
within the City of EDMONDS and,
WMMAS, it is required by RCW 56.08.020 that all cities
lying partially within or wholly within a walker district must approve
the comprehensive plan before said water district may install a system
for the collection and disposal of sanitary sewage, even though said
plan does not include the cities, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DOES
HEIMY RESOLTE AS FOLLOWS :
That the City of EDMONDS does hereby approve the comprehen-
sive plan of the Alderwood Water District for the collection and dis-
posal of sanitary sewage, as provided by Resolution No. 1405, of the
Alderwood Water District adopted June 6, 1966, which Resolution excludes
The City of EDMONDS in its plan for collection and disposal of sanitary
sewage,
