A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
COMMENDING LARRY HUBBARD FOR HIS SERVICES TO
SAID CITY AND THE CITIZENS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a community
award public recognition for outstanding public service ren-
dered by individual citizens, and
WHEREAS, sincerity of purpose and duty is often reflected
by length of service, and
WHEREAS, LARRY HUBBARD has served the City of Edmonds, and
the Citizens as Chairman and as a Member of the Planning Com-
mission since its inception in 1956, and
WHEREAS, said service dutifully abided for a period in
excess of ten years, and
WHEREAS, LARRY HUBBARD has voluntarily retired from his
position on the City Planning Commission, to the regret of his
associates and contemporaries, all of whom admired his devotion
to service and him personally, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds and the
officers and employees of said City deem it only fitting that
commendation should be issued herewith for the service so
spent by LARRY HUBBARD, and
WHEREAS, said commendation should be made a part of the
permanent records of said City, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, that LARRY HUB1ARD be hereby commended for his
untiring efforts and excellence in the service on behalf of
the said City and its citizens, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
furnished to the said LARRY HUBBARD and an additional copy
be entered in the permanent records of this City in order that
the citizens be forever aware of the high esteem and respect
in which LARRY HUBBARD has been, is and will be held.
RESOLVED;: by the City Council this 4th day of April, 1967.
