A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN SUMS FROM
UNANTICIPATED INCOME AND UNEXPENDED ITEMS WITHIN
THE 1967 BUDGET.._
WHEREAS;, due to the population growth and expansion and
resultant needs for increased city services within the City
of Edmonds, certain revenues have been greater than antici-
pated in the adoption of the 1967 budget, and dud to Federal
Matching Funds having been made available and utilized by
said City for park site acquisition making budgeted expendi-
ture thereof surplus to the particular purpose, and
WHEREAS, greater needs for tolling stock, certain park
equipment and building department personnel were needed than
originally anticipated in the adoption of the 1967 Budget, and
WHEREAS, no salary is hereby increased above the classi-
fications provided therefor for the year 1967, now, therefore,

RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to trans-
fer from unanticipated income within the current expense fund
as follows:
A. To Equipment Pool Fund, Capital Outlay, the sum of
$1,975.93 for an additional police vehicle;
B. To Equipment Pool Fund, Capital Outlay, the sum of
$900.00 for a vehicle for use of the Building Official and
City Planner;
C. To Equipment Pool Fund, Capital Outlay, the sum of
4521 for pick-up truck for miscellaneous carpentry work;
and
D. To Building Department, Salaries, the sum of $4,200,
for an assistant to the Building Official at the salary of
$600.00 per month.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
transfer from the Current Expense Fund, Capital Outlay,
Thayer Property as follows:
A. To Park Department, Capital Outlay, Machinery and
Equipment, the sum of $8,050.70, for additional playground
equipment and development; and
B. To Equipment Pool Fund, Capital Outlay, the sum of
$2,500, for pick-up truck and radio.
RESOLVED this 6th day of June, 1967.
