Resolution 157RESOLUTION1 NO. ��2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON COMMENDING TSR. PAUL BtRKE FOR HIS SERVICES TO SAID CITY AND THE CITIZENS THEREOF. WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a commu- nity award public recognition for outstanding public service rendered by individual citizens, and WHEREAS, DR. PAUL BURKE,, has served the City of Edmonds, and the citizens thereof as a member of the Park Board long and well, and WHEREAS, said DR. PAUL BURKE, has voluntarily retired from his membership on the Park Board, to the regret of his associates and contemporaries, all of whom have admired his devotion to service and him personally, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds and the officers and employees of said City deem it only fitting that commendation should be issued herewith for the service so spent by Dr. PAUL BURKE, and WHEREAS, said commendation should be made a part of the permanent records of said City, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDSO WASHINGTON, that DR. PAUL BURKE be hereby commended for his untiring efforts and excellence in the service on behalf of the said City and its citizens, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the said DR. PAUL BURKE and an additional copy be entered in the permanent records of this City in order that the citizens be forever aware of the high esteem and respect in which DR. PAUL BURKE has been, is and will be held. RESOLVED by the City Council this lot day of August, 1967.
