A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
COMMENDING HORACE PROPST FOR HIS SERVICES TO
SAID CITY AND THE CITIZENS THEREOF
t°?HEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a com-
munity award public recognition for outstanding public ser-
vice rendered by individual citizens, and
WHEREAS, said HORACE PROPST has diligently served the
City of Edmonds, and the citizens thereof, as a member of
the Planning Commission, as Chairman pro tem, and as Chair-
man of said Commission, and
TogMREAS, HORACE PROPST voluntarily retired from his
position as a member of the Planning Commission much to the
regret of his fellow city officials, and
WHEREAS, during the time so spent, HORACE PROPST has
devoted himself unselfishly to the spirit of bettering the
community in which he has so painstakingly served, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and
the officers and employees of said City deem it only fitting
that a commendation should be issued herewith for the time
and effort so spent by HORACE PROPST and that said commenda-
tion should be made a part of the permanent records of said
City of Edmonds; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS , v� ASHINGTON, that HORACE PROPST be hereby commended
for his unselfish dedication to the City of Edmonds and the
citizens thereof and for his guidance for the future and
better development of said City, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be furnished to the said HORACE PROPST and an additional
copy be entered in the permanent records of this City in
order that the citizens be forever aware of the high esteem
and respect in which HORACE PROPST has been, is and will
be held forevermore.
RESOLVED by the City Council this 21st day of May, 1968.
