Resolution 188RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDSO WASHINGTON, COMMENDING ROY STRINGER FOR HIS SERVICES TO SAID CITY AND THE CITIZENS THEREOF WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a com- munity award public recognition for outstanding public service rendered by individual citizens, and WHEREAS, said ROY STRINGER has diligently served the City of Edmonds, and the citizens thereof, as a member of the Planning Commission, and thereafter as a member of the Board of Adjustments and WHEREAS, ROY STRINGER voluntarily retired from said positions much to the regret of his fellow city officials, and WHEREAS, during the time so spent, ROY STRINGER has devoted himself unselfishly and without financial remun- eration to the spirit of bettering the community in which he has so painstakingly served, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and the officers and employees of said City deem it only fitting that a commendation should be issued herewith for the time and effort so spent by ROY STRINGER and that said commenda- tion should be made a part of the permanent records of said City of Edmonds; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, that ROY STRINGER be hereby commended for his unselfish dedication to the City of Edmonds and the citizens thereof and for his guidance for the future and better development of said City, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the said ROY STRINGER and an additional copy be entered in the permanent records of this City in order that the citizens be forever aware of the high esteem and respect in which ROY STRINGER has been4 is and will be held forevermore.
