A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
CREATING SPECIAL STREET DEPARTMENT FUNDS TO BE
DESIGNATED AS "URBAN ARTERIAL FUNDS"
WHEREAS, Chapter 83, Laws of 1967, Extraordinary Session,
provided for an Urban Arterial Program to be administered by
the Urban Arterial Board, and
WHEREAS,, pursuant to Resolution No. 158 the City of
Edmonds has applied to said Urban Arterial Board for approval
of street construction projects therein set forth, certain
of which projects have been approved, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS., WASHINGTON,, as follows:
1. There is hereby created and established a special
fund to be known and designated as "Urban Arterial Fund -
Ninth Avenue" into which fund shall be deposited funds from
the State of Washington Urban Arterial Board, from the County
of Snohomish and from the City of Edmonds, and against which
fund may be paid the authorized costs and expenses in con-
nection with that arterial street project approved by the
Urban Arterial Board.
2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to provide
for additional special funds to be designated as "Urban
Arterial Fund -(Project Name)" for such additional urban
arterial projects as have been or may be approved by the
Urban Arterial Board, into which funds shall be deposited
funds from the said Urban Arterial Board, the County of
Snohomish, the City of Edmonds, and such other cities as
may be participating in said designated project, and against
which fund may be paid the authorized costs and expenses
in connection with such arterial street projects approved
by said Urban Arterial Board.
