A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN SUMS WITHIN
THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND AND WITHIN THE STREET
DEPARTMENT FUND OF THE 1968 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Recreation Director of the City of
Edmonds resigned leaving his position vacant for a period
of time in 1968 thereby leaving a portion of his salary
as budgeted unexpended and necessitating the use of
contractual services to in -,part replace his duties on an
interim basis, and
WHEREAS, additional engineering services have been
necessitated beyond those expected at the time of the
preparation of the 1968 Budget by reason of the failure
of three local improvement districts to have been formed
subsequent to engineering of the same and by reason of
numerous requests for grades and alleys requiring further
engineering services, and
WHEREAS, due to the added increase in engineering and
related services and expenditures additional income for
re—imbursable services have been received in a greater sum
than contemplated at the time of preparation of the budget
for the year 1968, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
transfer within the Recreation Department of the Current
Expense Fund, from unused Salaries, Recreation Dtr., Ass.,
etc. of the 1968 Budget the sum of $1,200 to Contractual
Services.
Section 2. The City Olerk is hereby authorized to
transfer within the Street Department Fund, from unanticipated
income, Reimbursable Services of the 1968 Budget the sum of
,10,000 to Engineering Consultant.
RESOLVED this 5th day of November, 1968 by the Edmonds
City Council.
