Resolution 197RESOLUTION NO. J1 _L
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Chapter
35.77 of the Revised Code of Washington, as amended, and
Chapter 83, Laws of 1967, Extraordinary Session (RCW
Chapter 47.26), the City Council has adopted a comprehen-
sive street program by Resolution No. 61, and thereafter
modified by Resolution Nos. 107, 137, 158, 187 and 189, for
the six-year period following their passage, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, has reviewed the work accomplished under said
program, determined current and future city street and arter-
ial needs, and based on these findings has prepared a revised
and extended comprehensive street and arterial program for the
next ensuing six years, and,
WHEREAS, having held the public hearing on the revised
and extended comprehensive street program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Edmonds that the comprehensive street and arterial pro-
gram as revised and extended for the ensuing six years for the
City of Edmonds, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" (1969-1974, inclusive), setting forth the project location,
type of improvement and the estimated costs therefor, be and
the same is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as if
fully set forth within the body of this Resolution;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
with Exhibit "A" (1969-1974, inclusive) be filed with the
Director of Highways and the Urban Arterial Board for the
State of Washington.
