A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS* WASHINGTONs
APPOINTING REID& MIDDLETON & ASSOCIATESO INC. AS
PROJECT ENGINEERS AND AUTHORIZING SAID FIRM TO
ACQUIRE CERTAIN RIGHTS -OF WAY AND SLOPE EASEMENTSO
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE CITY ENGINEERS PURSUANT
TO THE URBAN ARTERIAL PROGRAM, 76th AVENUE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, Chapter 83, Laws of 1967, Extraordinary Session,
provided for an Urban Arterial Program financed by gas taxes
dedicated to the cities and counties, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 158 and subsequent amendments,
the City of Edmonds designated certain priorities for urban
arterials, and
WHEREAS, the :76th Avenue Project [No. 8-1-139-(1)1 has
been approved with the City of Edmonds as the designated con-
struction agent, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDSt
WASHINGTON:
The consulting engineering firm of Reid, Middleton &
Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as project engineer under
the direction of the City Engineer, and is hereby authorized to
acquire necessary rights -of -way and slope easements within the
City of Edmonds for the Urban Arterial Program, 76th Avenue
Project [No. 8-1-139-(1)], said acquisitions to be subject to
the approval of the City Engineer for the City of Edmonds.
RESOLVED this 7th day of January, 1969, by the City Council
of the City of Edmonds, Washington.
