Resolution 202RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON STATING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO PROHIBIT AND ENFORCE THE PROHIBITION OF ON -STREET PARKING ALONG PORTIONS OF STATE ROUTE 104 DURING PEAK HOURS AND WHEN TRAFFIC DEMANDS BECOME SUFFICIENT THAT NO PARKING WILL BE PER- MITTED AT ANY TIME PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF THE WASHINGTON STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Washington State Highway Commission has by letter requested that a resolution be passed by the City Council of the City of Edmonds to prohibit and enforce the prohibition of on -street parking along SR 104 during certain times, and WHEREAS, the Department of Highways will not be able to begin right-of-way acquisitions until a copy of said resolu- tion is forwarded to said Department of Highways, now, there- fore, it is hereby, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON that said City will prohibit and enforce the pro- hibition of on -street parking along State Route 104 from approximately 300 feet west of the Paradise Lane intersection to approximately 400 feet east of the Ninth Avenue intersec- tion during peak hours, and when traffic demands become sufficient that no parking will be permitted at any time along said section of State Route 104, and it is further, RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be certified and forwarded to the Washington State Highway Commission Department of Highways, Office of District Engineer, District — 6- � No. 1, 6431 Corson Avenue Southt Seattle 981081 Attention: Joseph Belle P.E.r District Location Engineer.
