A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN SUMS, ALL
WITHIN THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND FOR THE 1969
BUDGET FROM UNANTICIPATED INCOME.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds has received from the
State of Washington certain income greater than antici-
pated at the time of preparation of the 1969 budget, and
WHEREAS, there have been certain expenses greater
than originally anticipated when preparing the 1969 budget,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section l.' The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
transfer $2,500.00 from income greater than that anticipated
in the 1969 Budget, Revenue from Other Agencies (Share of
22 Million Dollars from the State of Washington), to the
Police Department Maintenance and Operation for the acquis-
ition of riot control equipment.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
transfer $2,700.00 from income greater than that anticipated
in the 1969 Budget, Revenue from Other Agencies (Share of
22 Million Dollars from the State of Washington), to Park
Department Capital.0utlay for expenditures necessitated by
the new shops building including the state sales tax, under-
ground wiring for lead-in service, theft of several plywood
panels and one square of roofing shakes and incidental matters
relating thereto.
RESOLVED this 5th day of August, 1969 by the Edmonds
City Council.
