Resolution 220RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON COMMENDING ROBERT BLACKBOURN FOR HIS SERVICES TO SAID CITY AND THE CITIZENS THEREOF WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a community award public award public recognition for outstanding public service rendered by individual citizens, and WHEREAS, said ROBERT BLACKBOURN has diligently served the City of Edmonds for many years, anal the citizens thereof, as the chairman of the Board of Adjustment, and WHEREAS, ROBERT BLACKBOURN voluntarily retired from his said position much to the regret of his fellow city officials and Board of Adjustment members, and WHEREAS, during the time so spent, ROBERT BLACK - BOURN has devoted himself unselfishly and without financial remuneration to the spirit of bettering the community in which he has so painstakingly served, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and the officers and employees of said City deem it only fitting that a commendation should be issued herewith for the time and effort so spent by ROBERT BLACKBOURN and that said commendation should be made a part of the permanent records of said City of Edmonds, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, that ROBERT BLACKBOURN be hereby commended for his unselfish dedication to the City of Edmonds and the citizens thereof and for his guidance for the future and better development of said City, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resol- ution be furnished to the said ROBERT BLACKBOURN and an additional copy be entered in the permanent records of this City in order that the citizens be forever aware of the high esteem and respect in which ROBERT BLACK - BOURN has been, is and will be held morevermore.
