A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON COMMENDING:SAMUEL P. FELTON
FOR HIS SERVICES TO SAID CITY AND THE
CITIZENS THEREOF
WHEREAS,it is appropriate and desirable that a community
award public recognition for outstanding public :service rendered
by individual citizens, and
WHEREAS, SAMUEL P. FELTON has diligently served the
City. of Edmonds; and the citizens thereof, .as a member of the
Board of Adjustment since. January 2, 1968,.having been appointed
by Mayor H. H. Harrison to. so serve, and
WHEREAS, during the time so spent SAMUEL P. FELTON has
devoted himself unselfishly and without financialreinuneration
too the spirit of bettering the community, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of. the City of Edmonds, and
the officers and employees of said City deem it only fitting that
a commendation should be issued herewith for the time and effort
so spent by SAMUEL P. FELTON and that said commendation should be
made a part of the permanent records of said City of Edmonds, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, that SAMUEL P. FELTON be hereby commended for
his unselfish dedication to the City of Edmonds and the citizens
thereof and for his guidance -'for the future and better development
of said City, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be
furnished to the said SAMUEL P. FELTON and an additional copy be
entered in the permanent records of the City in orderthat the
citizens be foreveraware of the high esteem and -respect in which.
SAMUEL P. FELTON has been, is and will be held forevermore.
RESOLVED by the City Council this -14th day of March, 1972.
