WHEREAS, a Petition signed by the owners of more than
two-thirds of the property abutting upon property dedicated for street
purposes, located in the City of Edmonds, Washington, being a portion
of 156th Street S.W., more particularly described as follows:
That portion of that certain right-of-way known
as 156th Street S. W. dedicated in the Plat of
Meadowdale Beach, recorded in Volume 5 of Plats,
Page 38, Records of Snohomish County; and the
Plat of Lund's Meadowdale Tracts, recorded in
Volume 6 of Plats, Page 26, Records of Snohomish
County, lying between the Westerly line of vacated
68th Avenue West dedicated in the Plat of Meadow -
dale Beach, recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, Page
38, Records of Snohomish County; and a line drawn
10. 00 feet Easterly and parallel with the East line
of 70th Avenue West dedicated in the Plat of Meadow -
dale Beach Supplemental Plat, recorded in Volume 5
of Plats, Page 42, Records of Snohomish County.
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the vacation
of the above described property, and
WHEREAS, the law requires a hearing on such petition and
that the date of such hearing be fixed by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Tuesday, the
2nd day of May, 1972, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. at the Edmonds Civic
Ce nter, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place for
the hearing and determination by the City Council of said Petition.
