WHEREAS, a Petition signed by the owners of less than
two-thirds of the property abutting upon property dedicated for
right-of-way purposes, located in the City of Edmonds, Washington,
being a portion of a City right=of-way, more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of a strip of land 100 feet in
width lying between Lots 13 and 14, Lake
McAleer Five Acre Tracts, according to the
Plat thereof, recorded in Volume 5 of Plats,
Page 48, Records of Snohomish County, Wash-
ington; except the following portions thereof:
the Northerly 10 feet, and; the Southerly
40 feet.
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the vacation
of the above described property, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, that it may be in the best interests of the
public health and welfare to vacate said right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds has
determined a hearing should be held and notices given as required
by Law, and a hearing date fixed by resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Tuesday, the
6th day of June, 1972, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. at the Edmonds Civic
Center, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place for
the hearing and determination by the City Council to vacate the above
described right-of-way.
