Resolution 264RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A RE-
VISED COMPREHENSIVE SIX-YEAR STREET CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM TO BE
FILED WITH THE DIRECTOR OF HIGHWAYS AND THE URBAN ARTERIAL BOARD.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 35.77 of the Revised
Code of Washington, as amended, and Chapter 47.26 of the Revised Code of
Washington, as amended, the City Council has adopted a comprehensive street
program by Resolution No. 61, and thereafter modified by Resolution Nos. 70,
107, 137, 158, 187, 189, 197, 208, 227 and 242, for the six-year period
following their passage, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington, has
reviewed the work accomplished under said program, determined current and
future city street and arterial needs, and based on these findings has pre-
pared a revised and extended comprehensive street and arterial program for
the next ensuing six years, and
WHEREAS, having held the public hearing on the revised and extended
comprehensive street program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Edmonds that the comprehensive street and arterial program as revised and
extended for the ensuing six years for the City of Edmonds, a copy of
which is attached hereto (1973 - 1978, inclusive) setting forth the project
location, type of improvement and the estimated costs therefor, be and the
same is hereby adopted and by this reference incorporated herein as if
fully set forth within the body of this Resolution; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution together with
the Exhibit attached thereto (1973 - 1978, inclusive) shall be filed with
the Director of Highways and the Urban Arterial Board for the State of
Washington.
