Commission member read the land acknowledgement II. Commission approved February 13, 2019 meeting notes 5. POLICY COMMITTEE UPDATES I. Each Policy Committee presented their policy ideas and accepted clarifying questions from the full Commission. Committees presented in the following order: • City Resources • Incentives and Requirements for Affordability • Ways to Encourage More Housing Types • Zoning Standards Updates • City Processes or Programs 6. PROPOSAL FOR MORATORIUM ON ZONING CHANGES I. Commissioner Ogonowski brought forward a proposal asking City Council to enact a resolution postponing any changes to current housing related codes or ordinances until after the Commission completes its work II. Commission voted 6 in favor and 7 opposed, with 2 abstentions. Motion failed. 7. NEXT MEETING I. Commission voted to hold a meeting via Zoom on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 PM 8. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT— PHASE 2 II. Presentation on online community engagement strategies during COVID-19 restrictions and the updated community engagement timeline 9. ADJOURN
