Old Business:
• Advertising - working with Kathy Harshbarger at My Edmonds news.com; the
board needs to finalize a photo and wording for the ad. Also discussed advertising
at the Edmonds Theater before the Walk Back in Time event in July.
• Discussed 2020 Walk Back in Time to feature Edmonds educators again, there
were many that we couldn't cover in this past Walk. Dale will find out when the
Annual Teachers Picnic is so that we can coordinate our date for the Walk.
New Business:
• Rich reminded Board members that we need to use the City email server for Board
business. Tracy, Kerry and Joan gave Rich their contact information so that he can
get this set up for them.
• Dale discussed a theme for the 2020 Memorial Day program. 2020 will mark the
75th anniversary of the end of WWII. We talked about featuring the story of
someone who served in the Pacific theater and one from the European theater.
We could feature music from the WWII era in some of our songs. We will continue
to discuss at future board meetings. We will set up Memorial Day planning
meetings after the 1st of the year.
