I discussed your <br />project with our Storm Engineer to confirm that my request for impervious surface calculations was <br />appropriate since I know that a large part of the paving was replacement of existing impervious surfaces. <br />He agreed that the calculations are necessary. As the total impervious is well over 2000sf (the pavers <br />alone are close to 2000sf), it is important that we know where the undetained water is going so we can be <br />sure that there are no problems in the future. I recall that when I spoke to the owner once on site and <br />another time in our office I did explain that these calculations as well as drainage information would be <br />required on his site plan. The owner had also mentioned that a drainage system had been placed under <br />the pavers in the backyard patio area. This also should be shown on the site plan; a detail of the system <br />and lines showing where the drainage is being diverted. We had discussed adding a drywell in the front <br />yard as well.
