Jj' 4ite was elected to serve on the City Council from `January, 1986 to
December, 1999 and overwhelmingly i-e-siected to serve another four -year term
starting January, 2000; and

evolved to be e profoundly involved and vocal Counciimember during his remaining
tenure. Councilmember White managed to. do this with great flair, humor, and a
tremendous respect for his fellow Counciimembers, City staff, and the Citizens of
