A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE FEE
SCHEDULE ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 967
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE CITY'S PLANNING,
PUBLIC WORKS, BUILDING, AND OTHER FEE
STRUCTURES, INCLUDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds has previously established a fee schedule
setting costs, charges and fees for the City's planning, public works, building and other' fee
structures, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to correct a title of a previously approved
fee to more accurately reflect its purpose; to confirm engineering fees previously approved,
which due to a scrivener's error were not included in the published fee schedule; and to amend
the adopted fee schedule to delete a complaint fee; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Resolution No. 967 and the fee schedule attached thereto as Exhibit A
is hereby amended as follows:
a. Under the section of Exhibit A entitled "Building ",
change Item 12, "Commercial Project Peer Review" to read
"Development Project Peer Review ", retroactive to January 1,
2000.

b. Under the section of Exhibit A entitled
"Engineering ", add Item 8 to read Permit Type "Engineering
Inspection and Review" fee "$250 plus 2.2% of the value of the
engineering improvements ", retroactive to January 1, 2000.
C. Under the section of Exhibit A entitled
"Miscellaneous ", delete Item 4, `Building/Land Use Complaint
Filing" fee of "$50 (refundable if complaint deemed valid after
inspection)" in its entirety.
Section 2. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this resolution or any
regulation adopted or amended hereby shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court
of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this resolution or any
regulation adopted or amended hereby, provided, however, that if any tax rate, fee level or
structure thereof established by this resolution is declared invalid or illegal, or which is otherwise
struck down, the tax rate, fee level or structure thereof in effect prior to the effective date of this
resolution shall be restored, revised and brought to full force and effect.
