RESOLUTION NO. 491
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING
THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM THE COUNCIL
CONTINGENCY FUND NO. 119 TO THE GENERAL
FUND NO. 001, DEPARTMENT NO. 710 , FOR
PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES FOR A SPACE NEEDS
STUDY.
WHEREAS, with the proposed vacation of the space
presently occupied by the Edmonds Library, efficient use of
the City's existing space needs to be analyzed, and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the space needs of
the City for the next several years be analyzed at this time
and alternatives proposed, and
WHEREAS, in order to proceed with this space needs
study, the City staff needs certain sums transferred for
purchase of equipment and supplies, and
WHEREAS, the above referenced expenses were not
reasonably foreseen at the time of preparation and adoption
of the 1981 Budget, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The-sum of $2,500 is hereby transferred
from the Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to the General Fund
No. 001, Department No. 710 , for the purpose of purchasing
equipment and supplies for the City's space needs study.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized
to take all necessary steps in order to effectuate the trans-
fer pursuant to this resolution.
