WHEREAS, the City Council has recently enacted a new
community development code and has recodified existing city
ordinances and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to pay for copying sufficient
numbers of the community development code and the recodifica-
tion of city ordinances to make them available to the public,
and
WHEREAS, these expenses could not reasonably have been
anticipated at the time of preparation and adoption of the 1980
budget, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $2,400 _ is hereby transferred
from the Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to the General Fund
No. 001, Department No. 710, for the purpose of paying for the
copying of the recodification of city ordinances, including the
community development code.
Section 2. The finance director is hereby authorized to
take all necessary steps in order to effectuate the transfers
ti
pursuant to this Resolution..
