RESOLUTION NO. 483
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING
THE SUM OF $2,500 FROM THE COUNCIL CONTIN-
GENCY FUND NO. 119 TO THE STREET FUND NO.
111 FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING AN OVER-
HEAD CROSSWALK SIGN ON 76TH NEAR COLLEGE
PLACE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer has recommended cer-
tain street improvements on 76th near College.Place Elementary
School to improve pedestrian safety, and
WHEREAS, the estimated costs of such improvement is
$5,000, half of which will be shared by the City of Lynnwood,
and
WHEREAS, these expenses could not reasonably have
been anticipated at the time of preparation and adoption of
the 1980 budget, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDDIONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $2,500 is hereby transferred
from the Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to the Street Fund
No. 111 for the purpose of installing an overhead crosswalk
sign and other improvements on 76th Avenue West near College
Place Elementary School..
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby autho-
rized to take all necessary steps in order to effectuate the
