<br />It was suggested to have the Engineer look over the Smart property, for a drilling site,

<br />A letter was feceived from the Great Northern Railway inquiring abgut what has been done
<br />.in regards to filling in of the two hoies`along Frorit street. :The Street Committee
<br />recommended that the Great Northern be liven permission to use some of the dirt at the
<br />Bell street crossing, and the city may'"b'e able to obtain free dirt for the rest of the
<br />fill but we do not have sufficient equipment for -the. -hauling of.the,_dirt. The Attorney
<br />was instructed to write the Great Northern in regards,to this fact.,. _
<br />Councilman Also reported the condition "of -the streets, he stated that the -snow was being hauled
<br />off and suggested that a crew be put'ori'at:riight also. He also reported that no bus loading
<br />zone had been located as,yet, but there'is a possible..chance of,& location at the Richfield
<br />Service Station.

<br />be placed on the North and South side of Dayton Street -,at Fourths; and the Children at Play

<br />A.report;was given on the -sites for drilling for water. �1Iayor McGibbon stated the Contractor
<br />would not drill on the tmart property, •.also that Mr. Davisson does not want to sell his
<br />property. And Mr. Zulauf wants $2000, and a roadway would have to be purchased from Mr.
<br />Davison, for which he asks $500. Mayor McGibbon stated.he,would like to contact- the
<br />Johnson's about"their property. Councilman Tucker ma de. a.mption.-that-the Mayor be,given power to
<br />negeotiate for the City, and he be reimbursed.for' what est rnemoney is necessary and he pick
<br />the best site. Motion was withdrawn.
