t <br />A.motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman McGinness that the <br />Council authorize the payment of $25.45 each for,three transformal rentals per year. <br />Motion carried. <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned. <br />City Clerk <br />June 20, 1950 <br />Mayor <br />The Council met for the regular session with Mayor McGibbon presiding. The roll <br />call showed the following councilmen present Vollan, Tucker, Maxwell, Engels and <br />McGinness. <br />The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The Treasurers report for <br />the month of May was read. <br />Donald Tuson was sworn in by the Mayor, for Councilman of First Ward, and Walter <br />Peterson for Councilman of Third Ward. <br />A claim for damages done to the car of Mrs. E. H. Allen, and 0. KId by Supt. Lawson <br />was read to the council. A motion was made by councilman Tucker and seconded by <br />councilman Vollan that this claim be paid. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Tucker that a <br />request be made to transfer the balance of the Sewer Outfall fund to -Police and <br />Fire emergency fund. Motion did not carry. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Maxwell and seconded by Councilman Tuson that the <br />Police Radio be paid for by borrowing from the Current Expense Find. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded y councilman ltMa,,cwell .that we <br />accept the offer from Mrs. Weedin for $200 for her property on'sdcd'nd avenue,North, the City <br />to pay for the title insurance. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by Councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Maxwell that the <br />Richfield Oil Company be charged with violation of Ordinance No. 579. Motion withdrawn. <br />A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Tucker that our <br />property lines at the foot of Bell Street be established and so marked. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by councilman Tucker and sedonded by councilman Engels that the Well <br />contract besigned. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Peterson was appointed on the water committee and councilman -Tuson on the <br />on the street committee. <br />A motion was made b y councilman Tucker and seconded by councilman Maxwell that the <br />Building and Fire :Code be ammended as recommended by the special Code Committbe. <br />Motion carried. <br />Therebeing no further business the meeting a djoied. <br />Asst.City Cler _ Mayor <br />July 11, 1950 <br />The Council met for the postponed meeting with Mayor McGibbon presiding. The roll call <br />showed the following councilmen present Tucker, Tuson Vollan Maxwell, McGinness and Engels. <br />The Water Collectors report w -as read. A mention was made by Councilmanh2LUdxwel—Is and <br />seconded by councilman Engeltl that the bills which were approved by the auditing com- <br />mittee be allowed and warrants be drawn on the proper funds. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman Maxwell that Attorney <br />Holte obtain deeds to the Weedin and Hedges property. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by -,councilman Maxwell and secinded by councilman McGinness that the <br />P. U. D. be given permission to extend their line on tenth and Sprague Street. Motion <br />Carried. <br />v� A motion was made by councilman Tucker and seconded by councilman Maxwell that.Ord. ## 602 <br />amending portions of the building code be adopted and published.
