A motion was made by councilman Vollan and seconded by councilman Engels that a <br />temporary rise permit be issued to Mr. Hall with restriction . that lie and his wile""" <br />live in the building, the . garage.;whi7_e, he is building his home, and the building <br />to revert back to a garage which cannot be rented. .Building constructz,on�of the <br />new building to be started within six month with a permit for one year. An <br />am6iadmentrt6etb e motion was made by.councilman McGinness and seconded by councilman <br />Maxwell that a permit be;,given for six month during construction of his new home. <br />A vote on the amendment lost. A vote on the motion showed it carried. <br />Mayo.r,McGibbon suggested that building permits be published in the local paper <br />weekly with a total once a month, this was made,a motion by councilman Vollan and <br />seconded by councilman Tucker. <br />A motion was made by councilman Tucker"and seconded by councilman Maxwell that <br />120 feet of four inch pipe be installed on C street. Motion carried. <br />A .motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by Councilman Engels that <br />the license for male and spade female dogs be °$''1 and for female $2. Motion carried <br />A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman Tuson that the Code <br />be adopted as corrected. Motion carried. <br />The meeting adjourned until Thursday,Xtght. <br />December 21, 1950 <br />The Council met for the adjourned meeting with Mayor�McGibbon presiding, with council <br />men Vollan Tucker, Tuson, Engbls,and:SIa Well present. <br />A motion was made by councilman Tucker and seconded by councilman Maxwell that Gaudio <br />be awarded the bidfor the entire job and Miller the alternate in case of failure to <br />sign the contract. Motion was withdrawn. <br />A motion was made by councilman Tucker and seconded by councilman Engels that Mr. Miller <br />be awarded the bid and Gaudio be given the alternate bid. The roll call <br />showed the following councilmen present Vollan, Tucker Tuson, Engels, Maxwell and Peterson. <br />The water collectors report was read. A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and <br />seconded by councilman Tusbnrthat the bills which were approved by the auditing committee <br />be allowed and warrants -.be drawn on the proper funds. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman Tucker that the Street <br />Department paint out all yellow curbs that are not in ruse. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by councilman Tucker and seconded by councilman Maxwell that a request <br />for a street light on Walnut street between 9th & 10the Avenue be installed and the P.
