Edmonds City Council Approved Minutes <br />January 13, 2015 <br /> <br /> <br />The Edmonds City Council meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Earling in the Council <br />Chambers, 250 5th Avenue North, Edmonds. <br /> <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT <br />Dave Earling, Mayor <br />Diane Buckshnis, Council President <br />Kristiana Johnson, Councilmember <br />Lora Petso, Councilmember <br />Joan Bloom, Councilmember <br />Adrienne Fraley-Monillas, Councilmember <br />Thomas Mesaros, Councilmember <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />Al Compaan, Police Chief <br />Phil Williams, Public Works Director <br />Carrie Hite, Parks & Recreation Director <br />Shane Hope, Development Services Director <br />Linda Coburn, Municipal Court Judge <br />Mike Clugston, Planner <br />Jeff Taraday, City Attorney <br />Linda Hynd, Deputy City Clerk <br />Jerrie Bevington, Camera Operator <br />Jeannie Dines, Recorder <br /> <br />1. CONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS COLLECTIVE BARGAINING PER RCW <br />42.30.140(1)(a) <br /> <br />At 6:30 p.m., Mayor Earling announced that the City Council would meet in executive session to discuss <br />collective bargaining per RCW 42.30.140(1)(a). He stated that the executive session was scheduled to last <br />approximately 30 minutes and would be held in the Jury Meeting Room, located in the Public Safety <br />Complex. No action was anticipated to occur as a result of meeting in executive session. Elected officials <br />present at the executive session were: Mayor Earling, and Councilmembers Johnson, Fraley-Monillas, <br />Buckshnis, Petso, Bloom and Mesaros. Others present were Sharon Cates, City Attorney’s Office, City <br />Attorney Jeff Taraday, MaryAnn Hardie, Public Works Director Phil Williams and Deputy City Clerk <br />Linda Hynd. The executive session concluded at 6:59 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Earling reconvened the regular City Council meeting at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Deputy Clerk Linda Hynd called the roll. All elected officials were present. <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FRALEY-MONILLAS MOVED, SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER <br />BUCKSHNIS, TO APPROVE THE AGENDA IN CONTENT AND ORDER, MOVING ITEM 11 <br />TO 7A. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> <br />4.
