Edmonds City Council Approved Minutes <br />February 3, 2015 <br />Page 1 <br />EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL APPROVED MINUTES <br />February 3, 2015 <br />The Edmonds City Council meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Earling in the Council <br />Chambers, 250 5th Avenue North, Edmonds. <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT <br />Dave Earling, Mayor <br />Adrienne Fraley-Monillas, Council President <br />Diane Buckshnis, Councilmember <br />Kristiana Johnson, Councilmember <br />Lora Petso, Councilmember <br />Joan Bloom, Councilmember <br />Thomas Mesaros, Councilmember <br />ALSO PRESENT <br />Noushyal Eslami, Student Representative <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />Jim Lawless, Assistant Police Chief <br />Phil Williams, Public Works Director <br />Carrie Hite, Parks, Rec. & Cult. Serv. CONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS A REAL ESTATE MATTER PER RCW <br />42.30.110(1)(C) AND POTENTIAL LITIGATION PER RCW 42.30.110(1)(I) <br />At 6:30 p.m., Mayor Earling announced that the City Council would meet in executive session to discuss <br />a real estate matter per RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) and potential litigation per RCW 42.30.110(1)(i). He stated <br />that the executive session was scheduled to last approximately 30 minutes and would be held in the Jury <br />Meeting Room, located in the Public Safety Complex. No action was anticipated to occur as a result of <br />meeting in executive session. Elected officials present at the executive session were: Mayor Earling, and <br />Councilmembers Johnson, Fraley-Monillas, Buckshnis, Petso, Bloom and Mesaros. Others present were <br />City Attorney Jeff Taraday, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Director Carrie Hite, Recreation <br />Manager Renee McRae, and City Clerk Scott Passey. Councilmember Bloom left the executive session at <br />6:48 p.m. and returned at 7:01 p.m. Councilmember Mesaros left the executive session at 6: 59 p.m. The <br />executive session concluded at 7:03 p.m. <br />Mayor Earling reconvened the regular City Council meeting at 7:06 p.m. and led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />City Clerk Scott Passey called the roll. All elected officials were present. <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />COUNCILMEMBER BUCKSHNIS MOVED, SECONDED BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT FRALEY- <br />MONILLAS, TO APPROVE THE AGENDA IN CONTENT AND ORDER. MOTION CARRIED <br />UNANIMOUSLY. <br />4. APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS
