A motion -was made by Councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman Bishop that Attorney Holte bill for $509.95, on L. I. D. #74 be paid.. Motion carried. A letter Was read from Robert F. King, in which he asks to have Tenth Avenue North of Daley -street vacated. A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman Tuson this -,be denied. Motion carried. A motion was made by councilman Maxwell and seconded by councilman McGinness that attorney Holte answer the letter from Harry Olson in regards to the perpetual maintenance of second -'Avenue North. -Motion carried. A motion.'was made by councilman Kincaid and seconded by councilman Tuson that bids on the intercepter sewer line be published February 28,.and the opening of bids be set for March•15: Motion carried. Upon the advise from Attorney Holte to settle the case with L. 0. Franklin for $2000, the amount due him, by doing'so, we will not have to pay the tax and some costs. The water committee authorized the laying of approx. 1600 feet of six inch pipe and necessary hydrants on second avenue north of Edmonds Street. A motion wa ma a by Councilman Talen and seconded by councilman Kincaid that we call for bidsaying of pipe from.Edmonds street to the North end of Mr. yiickstrom's plat, whith an alternate bid from Edmonds street to Caspers street. bids to be pt:u blished Feb. 2$ with the opening of bids March 15.
