There was one written <br />protest filed, and 61.5% of the property owners had signed the petition for the LID. The <br />motion was made by Councilman Kincaid, seconded by Councilman Lambe that Ordinance # 788 be <br />passed, creating LID #98, paving of 101' Ave. from Pine to Elm. Motion carried. <br />It was moved by Councilman Kincaid, seconded by Councilman Sorensen that an informal hearing <br />on the proposed paving of Third Ave. from Pine to Main be set for November 17, and the Engineer <br />be instructed to prepare a preliminary cost estimate from Howell Way to Main, and a supplementary <br />cost estimate from Howell Way to Pine. Motion carried. <br />In answer to a request, a motion was made by Councilman Simpson and seconded by Councilman <br />Christensen that permission be granted to give the name "Beach Place"'to the private easement <br />road which provides entrance to the Walker-Beltz subdivision, and appropriate house numbers <br />be assigned.
