A motion made by Councilman Kincaid and seconded by Councilman Tuson-that February 2, 1960 <br />be set to call for bids for construction of a new water storage tank. Bids will be opened <br />February 16, 1960. Motion carried. <br />There was no further., business to come before the meeting, and it was adjourned. <br />Secr tary <br />"Ali 0 <br />January 59 1960 <br />ayor <br />Regular meeting was called to order by Mayor Maxwell with all councilmen present. <br />Minutes of the last meeting were approved as corrected. <br />Hearing was held on the Preliminary Assessment Roll for proposed LID #99X There <br />were no written protests, and after discussion with property owners present, a <br />motion Ras made by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Lambe that Ordinance <br />#798 be passed, creating LID #99, sewering of the Five Corners area. Motion carried. <br />In answer to a request, a motion was made by Councilman Kincaid, seconded by <br />Councilman Sorensen that an extension of 20 days be approved for Pacific Mechanical <br />Constructors,'Inc. on Unit 12A of "Little Metro". Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Sorensen, seconded by Councilman Kincaid that the City <br />call for bids for gasoline and heating oil, bids to be opened January 19. Motion <br />carried. <br />It was moved by Councilman Kincaid, seconded by Councilman Christensen that the Mayor <br />be authorized to sign the contract with Snohomish County Civil Defense for 120 per <br />capita for the year 1960. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Lambe made a motion, seconded by Councilman McGibbon that the Mayor -be <br />authorized to sign the 5-year water pumping contract with P:U.D. to begin January 1, <br />1960. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Simpson -that the <br />Mayor be authorized to execute the street lighting contract as furnished by the P.U.D. <br />Motion carried. <br />It was moved by Councilman Simpson and seconded by Councilman Christensen that the <br />Mayor be authorized to have the following street lights installed as engineered by <br />i the P.U.D.: 1221 Place in the Hull and Anderson Addition; 8k S. and Hemlock; and 4th <br />Ave. S. of Howell Way. Motion carried. <br />The Water Collector's December report was read. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman McGibbon that the <br />bill for Estimate ,#4 for Unit 12B on "Little Metro" for $15,459.30 to Pacific Mechanical <br />Constructors, Inc. be paid. Motion carried. <br />It was moved by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman McGibbon that the bill for <br />Estimate #3 on Unit 12A of "Little Metro" for $260044.96 to Pacific Mechanical Con- <br />structors, Inc. be paid. Motion carried. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman McGibbon that the <br />monthly bills be paid dLnd warrants drawn on the proper funds.
