Commend Edmonds resident and Community Transit driver Jim Walker for driving two million miles without an accident.
Commending Tyler Fisher for his service as a Student Representative of the Edmonds City Council.
Amend the Fee Schedule adopted by Resolution No. 967 establishing fees for the City's Planning, Public Works, Building and other fee structures.
Recognize the Cyberschool's Youth in Philanthropy efforts for their outstanding efforts in addressing the social needs of the residents in Snohomish County.
Expressing the support of the City Council of the City of Edmonds for the passage of a ballot measure annexing the City of Edmonds to the Sno-Isle Library District.
Appoint a Councilmemeber to the Snohomish County Health District Board.
Declare the need for the Housing Authority of Snohomish County to operate within the boundaries of the City of Edmonds.
Appoint Dave Earling as the City of Edmonds Representative to Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area Corporation Board of Directors.
Thanking Councilmember Jim White for his service to the Edmonds City Council.
Thanking Thomas A. Miller for his service to the City Council as Council President.
Approve amendments to the City's Municipal Employee Benefit Trust Plan, authorizing pick up contributions in accordance with IRS Code Section 414(h)(2)
Designate the City Finance Director or Public Works Director as the officials authorized to make declarations of official intent on behalf of the City to reimburse certain expenditures from the proceeds of bonds.
Authorize application for funding assistance to the Snohomish County Community Development Block Grant Consortium in order to install improvements to enhance ADA accessibility on certain City playgrounds, parks and playfields.
Amend the fee schedule adopted by Resolution No. 967 establishing fees for the City's Planning, Public Works, Building and other fee structures.
Declare certain cemetery spaces unoccupied and subject to forfeiture under Chapter 68.36 RCW; authorizing posting of notices pursuant to the abondonment procedure in Chapter 68.36 RCW and authorizing continued identification of unoccupied cemetery spaces subject to forfeiture.
Authorizing application for funding assistance for a Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) Project (Acquisition of Marina Beach Park) to the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation (IAC) as provided in Chapter 79A.15 RCW, Acquisition of Habitat Conservation and Outdoor Recreation
Approving a Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), and directing filing of the adopted program with the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Commending Maia Krause for her service as a Student Member of the Edmonds City Council.
Establish a cost recovery process for the approval, renewal and transfer of telecommunications franchises and amending Resolution No. 967.
Resist future attempts to impose unfunded mandates upon the City of Edmonds and its ratepayers and taxpayers.
Recognize April 3, 2000 as Public Heath Week 2000.
Approve the transfer of control of the Cable Television Franchise.
Approve the circulation of a petition to annex an area described in the notices of intent to commence annexation proceedings filed with the City by owners of not less than ten percent in assessed value of the property for which annexation is sought, adopting the boundaries thereof,
Interpreting and applying the fees to be charged a variance applicant pursuant to Resolution No. 967, the annual fee Resolution for the year 2000.
Appoint Dave Earling as the City of Edmonds Representative to Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area Corporation Board of Directors and Jim White as Alternate.
